Charming old and immaculately clean hotel with extremely helpful and genuinely helpful staff at the reception desk. In a central location with restaurants and bars walking distance to the property. Walking distance to a museum and main street, a lot to see.

Fairly clean, old-fashioned hotel, I really enjoyed neat rooms and courteous staff. I was offered a room with excellent views of the lake. The location was great for traveling around Chicago, just next door to city center and the cute Dollop cafe.

New-fashioned room, functional, with a sofa as well as a chincy FUTON. Marvellous and stunning location, a few steps away from everywhere. Again, walking distance to a contemporary art museum.

Great food, updated room with fridge and microwave, 2 bedrooms. Peaceful area, very central location very close to many shops and restaurants, subway and many great restaurants. Besides, very convenient to a skyscraper observation deck.

The hotel is fairly clean, has views of the lake. The employees are courteous and welcoming. As for me location is great, right by downtown, the piers, the theatres and clubs and an easy walk from the Miracle Mile shopping district and Lakeshore. Magnificent Mile district deserves your time and attention. When I am in Chicago, I like staying here.

The value we got for our money at this hotel was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the small kitchen and fridge. The location was perfect, with the lake visible from our window and plenty of restaurants and pubs nearby. The staff treated us kindly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The only thing that could make the morning meal better is if they provided more variety of breakfast options.
